Sunday 10/6/13 Collection Day!

Sunday morning we arrived at Linus Pauling parking lot to meet our other group members and start our collection project. Our group consists of: Kyle Smith, who acted as the photographer. Ryan Skeele, Brian Dougherty, and Nicole Dickson. We met the TA for our group Carole. At 9:15 AM we left campus in a white van filled with tubs prepared to collect soil. Our first stop was the Oregon State Organic Farm where we collected Chehalis from a soil pit. Our second stop was a soil pit in Oak Creek near the covered bridge. There we collected Woodburn soil. Our third and final stop was at the Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture. We collected Bashaw near a creek there.
